Im still looking for some new updates about satellite television. Can someone with satellite tv explain if the myth of rain kills your signal is true? Was it really worth the price? After you signed up were there any extra fees you didnt know about? If anyone can answer these questions it would be greatly appreciated? Oh i almost forgot a question. Anyone that has satellite internet, are you satisfied with the service? how much does it cost monthly? Thx

Is it just me or is all digital systems, going up on their monthly subscription price. I know gas prices affected a lot of things. But shouldn't prices be going back down now? I also wanted to know if anyone has any opinions of direct tv vs dish network vs cable? I actually want dish network but wonder if its worth the money. All responses are helpful.

Satellite TV is setup to receive a signal from a satellite in the sky and send the signal to a receiver in the house.Is there anyone who has some kind of affiliation with satellite tv. If you are a satellite tv installer, cusomer service rep, salesman, etc., please elaborate on what you have read here. Alterman notes that the numbers of households equipped to receive satellite TV are bound to increase but they are still generally low. National studies show that percentages of outages for satellite TV are approximately 1 1/2 % versus the 3-4% experienced by cable TV.
